Exhibit_Sat // Dove Satellite Model
The ExhibitSat is a 1:1 scale recreation of the Dove Satellite designed and manufactured by Planet in San Francisco. The ExhibitSat takes great imagination from its source material while also protecting intellectual property, increasing durability for public display, and steering clear of ITAR regulations.
Exhibit_Kit
The ExhibitKit is a complete travel package demonstrating the hard work of the Planet hardware team. Each kit contains an ExhibitSat, a Display Stand, and Assembly Instructions. All components are packed in a rigid carry-on travel case for travel all over the world.
Recreating Spaceship Parts
As a number of parts are under ITAR restrictions, several new parts are required to represent, if not emulate the flight hardware.
Digital Model to start

Built to travel
From the beginning of the project, the Exhibit_Kit was designed to travel. Any travel case had to have enough volume to securely store all model parts and also be small enough to fit in the overhead bin of an airliner.
